Course description

Game design and dynamics are used to enhance player engagement, create an immersive experience and promote re-playability. In this course, students learn how to apply gamification concepts, such as feedback, progress, and time pressure to create engaging game interaction and appropriate use of achievements that establish an appropriate difficultly level and maximize game enjoyment.

Post Secondary level GAME 1001 Game Design 1 Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
