Course description
In this course, students examine methods used to present and describe information, as well as the basics of drawing conclusions about populations of data based on samples. They examine the selection and use of summary values such as measures of central tendency and measures of variation, in addition to some inferential statistical techniques. Students also explore a specialized statistical software package and discuss the ways in which it can be used to summarize and analyze data.
