Figure Studio:Draw/Painting 3

Course description

In this studio course, students integrate methods and concerns from historical and contemporary approaches to representing the figure. Drawing and painting from the live model build skills and construct connections between media. Contemporary concepts in figuration are explored in projects that encourage interpretation and exploration in the production of figure based work.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
