Course description
Students consolidate academic knowledge and skills applicable to educational and day community settings in approved Ministry of Education settings or in day community agencies. In the capacity of an educational assistant, or community support worker, students assist individuals with developmental, behavioural, social, physical or learning disabilities in reaching academic and life skill goals. Students demonstrate skill-based competency at the professional level required for entry into the Developmental Services field.
