Course description
This course is designed to support and reinforce skills developed in relation to key areas of security field operations that include: personnel security, physical security, information management, risk management, incident response and security awareness during the work integrated learning (WIL) experience. In a collaborative environment with guidance from faculty, college-based monitors, placement supervisors, and classmates, students explore new experiences and face new challenges while enhancing their individual successes. Emphasis is placed on problem solving and developing appropriate strategies to be successful within this and other affiliated professions.

Prerequisites
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
