Engine Function and Design

Course description

Students learn the design and function of two- and four-stroke cycle engines and the components relative to their operation. They also explore the use of manufacturer's information to perform engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
