Course description

Discover the power of the non-profit sector in shaping positive change within communities, countries, and the world. Non-profit organizations operate for purposes other than generating profit, focusing on social, cultural, or environmental missions. Through collaborative research students analyze how community members, both individually and collectively, actively drive change through social innovation and action. Students gain insight into the non-profit sector's role in driving impactful change within themselves, their community, and the world around them.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
