Course description
In this course, students learn the principles of operation for digital and semiconductor devices. Students apply theoretical knowledge to the testing of components, soldering and desoldering procedures, troubleshooting and common applications for digital and semiconductor components. Using hands-on projects, students demonstrate device operation and correct circuit configurations for logic gates, resistors, semiconductors and transistors. They also discuss schematic symbols and printed circuit boards.
