Course description

Students explore hand tools and power tools that are used for a variety of electrical installations. Students practice installation procedures and wiring methods for electrical equipment and electrical devices found in residential applications. Electrical installation projects include lighting and receptacle circuits, appliance outlets, smoke detection and carbon monoxide detection devices. All wiring projects are completed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
