Course description

Students wire and troubleshoot electrical control circuits following industry standard safety practices and procedures. Students study the principles of motor control and protection in both AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) circuits including forward, reverse, and speed regulating applications using electromechanical devices, with a focus on standard motor control circuit diagrams and symbols.
