Determinants of Health
MHCC 1001
Course description
In this course, students develop important perspectives for planning and delivering mental health services. A bio-psycho-social approach allows students to move from a narrow focus based on a person to a broader understanding that includes context and larger social factors. This sets the stage for exploring policy directions that are guided by recovery principles, empowerment values, and evidenced-informed knowledge and practices.
