Course description
Students are introduced to the elements and principles of two-dimensional and three-dimensional design. Exploration of the possibilities inherent in working with even the simplest elements leads to a better understanding and appreciation of the role of design in visual art. The design process is used to develop ideas and to solve design problems.

Prerequisites
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
