Note: Registration is open for the entire semester. Participants are able to register and take the module at any time during the semester. The module is expected to take up to eight hours in total to complete but there is no time limit, as long as the module is completed by the last day of the semester.
Course description
In the final module in this series, participants create a personal plan for sustainable, ongoing action in the workplace, to foster a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Further strategies are explored for engaging in courageous conversations, acting in alignment with equity-oriented values, and committing to allyship efforts across socio-cultural identities. Participants are encouraged to develop short-term and long-term strategies to support their own growth as allies and expand their capacity for being comfortable with being uncomfortable. Each of us has a part to play in creating lasting transformative change in the workplace and beyond. This is the final module that makes up the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Series Micro-certificate. Modules must be completed in sequential order, as each module builds on the skills in the previous module.
