Basic Electrical Principles

Course description

In this course, students investigate the basic concepts of electricity. The electrical circuit is the fundamental building block for these concepts. With knowledge of these electrical concepts and Ohm's law, students gain an understanding of the behavior of most electrical components.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
