Course description
Students gain the knowledge and skills to defend against multiple types of application attacks. The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top Ten is introduced to increase understanding of some of the most popular vulnerabilities and how to defend against them. Students learn how to test applications for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. Manual and automated tools are used to map, discover, exploit, and secure web applications on both the client and server sides.
