Course description
Students learn normal anatomy and physiology beginning with an orientation to the body and continuing through the cell, and four of the major systems: the integumentary system, the musculoskeletal system, the nervous system and the endocrine system. They are also introduced to the study of microbiology. Students focus on three unifying themes that provide the basis of understanding the workings of the human body: the interrelationships of body organ systems, homeostasis, and the complementarities of structure and function.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
