Course description

Students gain first-hand practical experience in the community and develop an understanding of the role of the paramedic and allied services in the care of out-of-hospital patients. Under the direct supervision of a paramedic team, students apply theoretical and practical knowledge from their coursework by participating in the care of patients experiencing medical emergencies and traumatic emergencies
