Course description

Students examine the cyber security basics related to hacking and incident response. Students explore current trends and issues related to data protection, password management and firewalls. Students will evaluate system vulnerabilities and apply the concepts of layered defence to ensure adequate protections are in place.

Post Secondary level PSIN 2012 Cyber Security Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
