Course description
Students further develop an understanding of functional, aesthetic, and spatial qualities relevant to bath design and the application of these skills to new and existing build projects. Particular focus is given to advanced planning principles relevant to baths that vary in both scope and design criteria. Concepts of design integrity, ageing in place, sustainability, barrier free requirements and universal design are practiced in the development and documentation of new bath designs. The design concepts students learn adhere to regulatory codes, industry guidelines and satisfy design parameters.

Post Graduate level KBDE 1001 Bath Design Minimum Grade of 60and Post Graduate level KBDE 1005 Computer Aided Drafting/KBD Minimum Grade of 60
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
