Adv Standing Skills Refresher

Course description

In this course, students are provided with a review of basic medical/surgical nursing skills and health assessment skills according to safe practice expectations, including the Professional Standards and Entry to Practice Competencies of the College of Nurses of Ontario in a simulated environment. Eligible students have successfully completed at least one semester in the Practical Nursing program or the Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or one year in the Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Students successfully complete this refresher course to be able to safely return to a clinical course.
