Course description

Students build on the skills acquired in the introductory course to produce professional court documents. Students study the concepts necessary to input and manage client accounts using legal accounting software. Docketing time and timesheets are discussed. Students examine the Law Society of Ontario's by-laws specific to the proper management of trust accounts.

Post Secondary level LAWS 1023 Intermediate Legal Office Minimum Grade of 50
or Post Secondary level OFAD 1004 Intro to Legal Office Admin Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
