Course description

Continuing the development of students' skills with computer-aided design (CAD) software by introducing larger scale and more integrated projects, students apply the professional quality and standards for drawings in the civil/construction field. The necessity for document control, cross referencing of details, and compliance with formal standards and field practices is key.

Post Secondary level COMP 1056 Civil Engineering Graphics Minimum Grade of 50
or Post Secondary level COMP 1119 Introduction to 2D CAD Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
