Office of the President

Board of Governors
Discover information about Georgian College’s Board of Governors, members of the board, accountability, awards, reports, plans and by-laws. In general, a college board has the power to govern the college and in law, is responsible for the college’s activities. However, the college administration, which derives its authority from the board and is accountable to the board, manages the day-to-day activities of the college.

New Hire Orientation
Come to our half-day new hire orientation to learn more about Georgian College! This is a great opportunity to meet some of your colleagues and network with others who are also new to the organization. Lunch and an opportunity to explore the campus are included.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Campuses are locked between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
This can vary depending on the department, but in general employees at Georgian wear business casual. Your direct manager can provide you with more specific details on this.
When classes are in, it may be difficult to find a close parking spot, especially if you’re arriving after 9 a.m. Please see the section on parking to help you with planning your first day.
