Program description
Students learn to use current Web and Internet technologies to create innovative, interactive products for a variety of users, platforms, and devices. They develop skills and knowledge to plan, design, and develop engaging and intuitive Web applications. Students explore the use of current technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the Document Object Model (DOM), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and a variety of popular Web frameworks. With a focus on user-centered design, students apply human-computer interaction principles, standards-based technologies, and Web application best practices to create an accessible, usable, and captivating user experience.

OSSD or equivalent with
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school applicants may also be considered for admission. Eligibility may be met by applicants who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing. Applicants who have taken courses from a recognized and accredited post-secondary institution and/or have relevant life/learning experience may also be considered for admission; refer to the Credit for Prior Learning website for details:

To be successful in this program, you are required to have a personal notebook computer (either PC or Mac1) prior to the start of the program that meets or exceeds the following specifications:
