Team Georgian puts the fun in Fun Run
Rain didn’t dampen Team Georgian’s spirit at the 38th annual Rotary Club of Barrie Fun Run on Wednesday, May 28.
In fact, alumni, students, staff, faculty and their families and friends turned out in near record setting numbers to run, walk and puddle jump our way through the 5 km and 10 km races. Team Georgian is always proud to support the good work of Rotary and is appreciative to all Rotarians for their support of so many community causes.
Special congratulations and high five to Civil Engineering Technology student Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe for coming in first place in the 5 km run!

Get ready! The Georgian Alumni Association is thrilled to once again be organizing Team Georgian’s participation in the Fun Run and is pleased to offer a subsidized and exclusive registration fee for alumni, students, staff, and faculty.
Meet Growler at our tent for fun activities for the whole family! Choose a 5km walk or run, or a 10km run along Barrie’s beautiful lakeshore. Kids can also register for the 250m fun run with Growler and Sprocket.
When: Wednesday, May 28
Where: Southshore Community Centre, 205 Lakeshore Dr, Barrie ON L4N 7Y9
Registration and bib pick-up: 5:30 to 6 p.m.
Kids 250m race: 6:15 p.m.
Run/walk start time: 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $25 per participant, $10 per child 12 and under

Early bird contest: Register by Friday, May 16 for a chance to win a $100 prize courtesy of our Alumni Association partner, belairdirect.
Registration closes Monday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m.
